What is HSSL?

The Mid-Michigan High School Summer League (HSSL) is a recreational high school summer league comprised of incoming and current high school soccer players in the Greater-Lansing Area. In accordance with the MHSAA Rules, the HSSL does not keep scores or standings. This league is meant for the players and teams to play together in a laid-back environment during their high school off-season.

What is the game format?

All HSSL games are played in the 11v11 format.

 

All games are comprised of 2 x 35 minutes halves with a running clock and 1 x 10-minute halftime.

Teams will be separated by gender, grade based on the number of teams and how many players each school registers.

 

All games will follow the 3 referee system, unless referees cannot be found then a 2 referee system will be used.

 

No scores or standings will be recorded in accordance with MHSAA off-season regulations.
